My Escapades in Bangkok Continue

Before I start proceeding with my experiences in the capital city of Thailand, I must confess one thing. Catching my flights to Bangkok was one of the best decisions I have made in my entire life. I have a small piece of advice to every people reading this blog, if you could not come to Bangkok in your bachelor life you have missed something which can never be recovered.
Bangkok has many dimensions to its character. The city gives you many alternatives and leave it to the individual taste how he perceives it. On one hand Bangkok offers you a life filled with materialistic pleasures while on the other hand the city gives you something to enrich your soul or inner self. With a prominent Buddhist culture with a tinge of Hinduism, Bangkok is a place where you can seek peace and solace. Despite being marketed as a favourite destination for sex tourism, Bangkok has many more layers than surgically enhanced hookers craving for your money. In whole of Asia, Thailand is one of the very few countries where you can get the real essence of Buddhist culture.
I urge all of you reading this blog to come to Thailand and when you decide to visit the city of Bangkok, keep yourself away from any pre conceived notion you have about the culture of people. Only then can you enjoy the holistic life the city offers without falling and trapped into a maze of perceptions.
